Feeding Frenzy

Madilyn is becoming more independent when feeding herself. I have found that she’ll still let me feed her if I give her a spoon to hold as well (thanks for the tip, Becky!)

And as you can see here, she’s developing quite a taste for ceramic dishes …

Friends and Food

Jeff’s friends from high school, Jimbo and Amy Garcia and their kids, Sara and Sam, came to visit family last week — almost exactly a year from the last time they saw Madilyn — and Jeff and Madilyn drove out to have lunch with them on Sunday afternoon.

Saturday Night Fever

These photos were taken before we went to a cookout Saturday night, only to leave 10 minutes after we arrived because of mosquitoes. Madilyn got two bites. I got like 200.
