The Grandparents Arrive!

“Madilyn” (via Jeff) made her grandparents a sweet welcome sign to greet them as they arrived last Friday night. They are anxious to meet her! We went out to eat and have been keeping busy with projects around the house all weekend. Madilyn’s “Mema” (Jeff’s mom) also came home from her visit to Pennsylvania on Friday too. She came over Saturday and we grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and celebrated the fourth all over again.

4th of July

I’m behind on updating the blog! Here’s a photo from July 4th just before we left to meet some church folks for a cookout in Tavares. About 99 people—couples and families—from the church came and grilled out (dodging the off-and-on-rain all day). Everyone was surprised to see me, and some even seemed a little bit nervous—like I could go into labor at any minute. Don’t I wish … We had a great time though.
