It’s a Girl!
February 27, 2007
Spoiler alert! We found out today we’re having a girl. Here are some pictures from the ultrasound. We are just thrilled and excited. Quite a few of our family thought we were going to have a girl, so their assumptions were confirmed today. The ultrasound was so cool.
At first the tech was unsure of the gender since her legs were closed. She was being pretty still. Then as the tech continued to prod around and take measurements she began to kick and move around. It was so neat to feel her move and see it on the screen at the same time. The tech got a great view then and was more certain about the gender.
Everything else looked normal, and the tech said she weighs 14 ounces today. So about 2 ounces more than a can of Coke! Now the fun stuff can begin: names, nursery, shopping!
I also had an appointment with my cardiologist today. My arrhythmia has been acting up. He put me back on one of my heart meds and told me to limit activity. With 50% more blood volume and the added stress on the heart, this was expected. It’ll be manageable, I’m sure.

My friends’ that were pregnant last year, all had girls! She’s so beautiful and cute. Hopefully, we’ll visit to see the peanut! (and you guys, of course too)!
